Removing SIDHistory from the whole domain

I am currently working on the removal of SIDhistory in a big Active Directory domain. Currently looking on tools to do the job. I am hoping this gets done right as I do not want any users complaining. Microsoft's tool SUBINACL with the /offlinesam seems to do the trick but I still need to get some baseline stats. Will be dealing with terabytes of data. I have to be ready for the long haul as this will take months to complete.
